Story of Hotel Hermitage

The Hotel Hermitage is a resort hotel of an international Standard in Sauraha, on the bank of Rapti
River, boarding the Chitwan National Park with attractive landscape with big open playgrounds,
excellent river side location and largest territory (6 bigha) forest land.
The hotel has Nepal’s only one designed as the boat-house. The others structure has cottages, pond,
boating canal, houses etc. The hotel resort has cottages of traditional style but with all modern
amenities, provided with also tent houses. Two double storied boathouses surrounded by water, a
number of cozy huts and 12-room guesthouses make a total of 24 rooms of the hotel. As the name of
the resort suggests, the tranquil and independent life of hermitage can be enjoyed in each of the rooms
and practically everywhere inside the Hotel compound, especially its beautiful Organic Vegetable, fruits
and
Numerous varieties of wildlife including approximately 500 one-horned Rhinoceros (found only in Nepal
& India in the world), about 100 Royal Bengal tigers, Leopards, Bears, the dense riverrine and sal jungle
the Tharu Villages around it, are all there to give maximum enjoyment to the guests.
Extreme care has been taken to maintain a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere. A beautifully set
garden where you can enjoy the cool air and admire the gorgeous sunset of Chitwan is one of the main
attractions of the hotel. Two double storied Boat houses surrounded by water, a number of cozy huts
and a 12 roomed guest house make a total 24 rooms of the hotel. As the name of the hotel suggests, the
tranquil and independent life of hermits can be enjoyed in each of the rooms and practically every
where inside the hotel compound.
All the rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, air conditions for the warmer seasons, and the
attached toilets and bathrooms have round-the-clock hot and cold water. The kitchen serves Nepali as
well as Western Cuisine, and it serves everything with a smile.
All in all it is the ideal Safari resort from where one of Asia’s best wildlife can be experienced.
